Meet Robyn

Your Wedding Day is most likely one of the biggest life events you will bring together and celebrate. As with any ceremony or celebration I conduct, it is important to me that the journey and event is all about you as a couple, your wishes, hopes and dreams, from start to end. I would love to support you in making your wedding ceremony one of the most priceless days you will remember for many years to come.

I believe if you really want to do something passionately enough then do it now, as tomorrow is not a given and not to be taken for granted. So, following my own advice and taking my leap of faith, I landed here, finally making my dream a reality and recently graduating as a Commonwealth Registered Celebrant.

Over many years, I have had the pleasure of working with people from all walks of life in a variety of supportive and caring roles. My professional background is Family Therapy/Family sensitive practices and I have years of experience in the disability field and love working closely with carers.

I am a mother of 3 (one fur baby) and a besotted Nanna of 4. I consider my riches in life to be my children, their partners, and my priceless grandchildren, they all keep me young on the inside and I am truly blessed. Good homemade food, laughter and banter are usually at the heart of our family gatherings. I tend to measure success in life by kindness, the love and respect we share with each other and loving people through the tough times as well as the triumphant times.  I believe Intention and integrity are everything and two non-negotiables that float my ship through life.

I come from a large family and of Scottish heritage, and love Scotland as my second home. I love to celebrate culture and diversity and believe we have so much to learn about life by exploring the world and people in it, particularly those marginalised.

One of the most special places I have travelled to is the City of Assisi, a truly amazing and spiritual place.

Writing and music speak to my heart, and I love creating stories that authentically capture people and their lives. I believe the universe is bigger than us all.

When I need to fill my own cup, its usually spending time with my tribe in life or camping under the stars with a fire, good company, and a red.

I am incredibly excited about my next chapter in life and my journey conducting ceremonies.

What you can expect

Choosing the right celebrant that resonates with you is important. After making initial contact with me, I look forward to meeting with you face to face over a coffee and chat. I am flexible if you prefer contact to be over the phone, via zoom or other. I will then confirm my availability for your special day

I will let you know what documents and what proof of ID you will need to provide and step you through the completion of the legal marriage documents and any respective timeline you need to be aware of.

I will confirm my celebrant costs in line with your proposed wedding ceremony needs. At this point I will require a booking fee, so you know I am locked in as your celebrant for your ceremony date and time. I have high quality audio equipment, including microphones and will provide more details when we meet.

From here let’s work together, establishing what type of wedding day you are planning.  Whether it be an elopement with witnesses, a full ceremony or something more intimate and private with a smaller group of loved ones.

We will create a story and wedding ceremony that speaks to the heart of the occasion and will linger along the years ahead, capturing everything about you and your special day.

Additional costs to my celebrant fees include:

  • Travel costs over 50 kms.

  • Overnight accommodation costs.

  • Interstate & Overseas travel costs. (I wish)

  • Hire costs of required ceremony equipment and/or items not currently provided in my current package.
